Canon imagePROGRAF TX4000 PF-06 Print Head Makes Short Work of Big Jobs

Canon designed the 6-channel PF-06 Print Head to work with the TX-4000’s high-speed carriage and high-frequency ink ejection. The PF-06 printhead incorporates a nozzle-shaped orifice to minimize mist spray and lay down clean lines and text with outstanding speed. With its 15,360 nozzles, this high precision print head lays down 5 picoliter-size ink droplets for impressively sharp detail. Fine lines are accurate to ±0.10% and as thin as 0.02mm, with consistently accurate prints at 2400 x 1200 dpi output (max.).

Canon’s 5-color LUCIA TD pigment ink set was specifically formulated to produce sharper lines and text on both inkjet and non-inkjet media. When used with a water-resistant media, this ink set produces prints capable of withstanding many outdoor environments. The TX-4000 ships with 1,650 ml of ink and this ink set are available in 160 ml, 330 ml, and 700 ml ink tanks.

Canon makes loading media unbelievably easy. Just place a roll of media on the roll holder and let the Automatic Media Loading system do the rest. The printer detects the roll and automatically feeds the paper through the printer feeder. No manual feeding required—ever!
