High-Volume Printing, Impressive Colors, and Ease of Use

Canon designed their TX Series plotter printers specifically for customers with high productivity needs, but not necessarily a massive budget. Although great for architects, engineers, and construction firms, the TX Series is also well suited to general office use, retail and educational institutions—particularly with its intuitive scanning software and user interface.

There are two MFP models in the lineup: the Canon TX-4000 MFP T36 and the Canon TX-3000 MFP T36. Both are 44-inch printers equipped with Canon’s T36 Scanner and a Controller PC. Both incorporate Canon’s PF-06 print head with 6-ink channels and 15,360 nozzles for uniform ink density and color and 15% faster print speeds. Canon’s 5-color Pigment Ink Set prints with incredible black density and excellent bleed resistance in solid fill areas. It shouldn’t come as a surprise these printers can print 3D-sized drawings faster than toner-based LED plotters.

Canon equips the TX series with high-capacity ink tanks in three sizes that can be mixed and matched—a 160ml, 330 ml, and 700 ml size tank. If most of your printing uses black ink, opt for a larger black ink tank and use the smaller tanks for other colors. Canon also offers an optional Multi-Function Roll (MFR) system that can hold 2 rolls of media up to 6.7” diameter or be used as a Take-up unit for streamlining workflow.
