Canon’s imagePROGRAF TX Series printers are designed for the large format printing needs of architects, engineers, construction companies, GIS, and other technical fields. The 36” Canon TX-3000 and 44” Canon TX-4000 both have the speed, versatility, and print quality for the most demanding applications. And like all iPF series printers, Canon includes a suite of security features to help protect confidential data.
The PF-06 print head on these printers works with the TX Series’ high-speed carriage and high-frequency ink ejection to enable fast printing, laying down 5 picoliter-sized ink droplets for sharp detail and consistently accurate 2400 x 1200 dpi resolution. Canon sells their inks in 160 ml, 330 ml, and 700 ml tanks, so you can buy any combination of them you choose based on your printing volume and preferences.
Canon designed the TX Series for reduced curling of output. You can order an optional Multi-Function Roll System that allows a second roll of paper to be loaded on the printer for instant switching between different types of media or for printing large runs without having to stop the printer to reload media.
With parallel processing capabilities, you can scan and print simultaneously with the TX Series printers. Speaking of printing, you can print JPGs and PDFs directly from a USB thumb drive. Just plug it into the port on the printer.
